Eat’n’go, the Nigerian Group in a joint venture with Sebastien Clamorgan‘s firm Venia International, has launched the Feeding the Frontline charity initiative to support essential workers during the Covid-19 emergency. Since the rise of the pandemic, indeed, the Group headquartered in Lagos has been supporting doctors, nurses, police officers and other security agencies, as they are carrying out extremely important work during the crisis. “Today, we say thank you to the people who stay at their jobs so we can stay safe at home. Since the rise of the Covid-19 global pandemic, we have witnessed the rise of heroes across the countries – the doctors, nurses, police officers and other security agencies“: this is what Eat’n’go wrote in a statement, expressing its gratitude to the people who are on the emergency frontline. The Nigerian food operator, which is part of a joint venture built by Venia International – the global firm led by Sebastien Clamorgan – so far has reached 6,500 workers, and, “as a token of our appreciation“, has donated more than 13,600 slices of pizza, 10,000 cups of ice cream, and 800 cups of yoghurt, worth 23 million naira value of products. “We throw a salute to these MVPs; our very own Heroes“, Eat’n’go wrote, adding “Thank you for your selfless commitment to our community. We are grateful for you! We will continue to support you“.
Feeding the Frontline is among the initiatives carried out by Eat’n’go in the social field: the Group followed another charity project last year – Slum2School – which was also carried out in collaboration with Venia International. Slum2School made it possible to raise 50 million naira to support 1000 Nigerian children into school and to improve education in the country.
Started in 2012, Eat’n’go is dedicated to bringing Food & Beverage brands to Africa. The Group is the leading franchisee for Domino’s Pizza, Cold Stone Creamery, and Pinkberry Gourmet Frozen Yoghurt. With more than 100 stores across Nigeria, the company achieved market leadership in the country. A big push toward these successful results has been given by the long collaboration with Sebastien Clamorgan’s firm: Venia International, indeed, is a global consulting and investment firm particularly focused on the African and Middle Eastern markets, two areas in which the firm is considered a reference point.
