Sebastien Clamorgan’s support to Eat’n’go: the Slum2School initiative
The 2019 goal set by the restaurant group Eat’n’go has been reached: 50 million naira raised to support 1000 kids into school. As the leading franchisee for Domino’s Pizza, Cold Stone Creamery, and Pinkberry Gourmet Frozen Yoghurt, Eat’n’go is dedicated to bringing Food & Beverage brands to Africa. The group is a joint venture that includes Sebastien Clamorgan‘s Venia International as a shareholder.
The sum of 50 million naira reached will help providing education for Nigerian children within the Slum2School initiative, a developmental organization whose aim is to empower children in remote communities with quality education. Slum2School collaborates with the government, private sector, individuals, civil society organizations and other developmental agencies in order to create networks to support underserved children in slums and hard to reach communities. The initiative made it possible to donate 100 naira for every Eat’n’go product purchased since December 2018: Cinnastix from Domino’s pizza, bubble waffles from Pinkberry Gourmet Frozen Yoghurt, and waffles from Cold Stone Creamery. The common goal set by the partnership between Slum2School and its participants is to improve education in Nigeria, in order to cope with the shortcomings in the sector.
The initiative was carried out in close collaboration with Eat’n’Go, the food and beverage group headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria. The company started its operation in 2012, and, over time, expanded to other regions, establishing more than 100 stores across the country. The great success was also achieved thanks to the company’s important partnerships, among which the one with Venia International stands out. The global consulting and investment firm founded by Sebastien Clamorgan, in fact, is a major player in the Middle East and North Africa region, and supports the establishment of several international brands in the area. Over its thirty years of activity, Venia International carried out many significant projects that led the company to be recognized as the reference point of the MENA region.
